Just showing off my male/female pair... I hope for eggs someday, once I have a proper filtered water area for them, and I'd like to see if I can keep any of the offspring neotenic... I would love a 'tiger axolotl'!

Very cool, I tried Keeping Salamanders once but they somehow escaped . I felt so guilty I haven't tried again since. I love the colors on these! Slimey Monsters!
Fantastic looking love salamanders but just to warm here for them . Those have some great patterns
They're only in a 10 gallon, but it's halfway filled with eco-earth. They very rarely come out of their burrow, but they're happy there.
Come to think of it, the female is usually in the burrow, but the male ventures outside, I presume to guard their 'territory'. I often have to dig out the female so she can get enough crickets to stay filled out.

i used to have one but my rat ate it. she slipped into a little hole and ate everything but the spine. it sucked i felt really bad for awhile
