What size is he? You say "large" -- like two or three feet?

Okay, then he's been eating feeders for a while... that's too bad. You're doing good by switching him over. I don't know what all you've tried, but squid is really stinky and my RTC seems to really go for it. Also, Massivore seems pretty irresistible. Have you tried either of those? I'll bet once you find one he really goes for, it should be easy to get him onto other things. Also, soaking food in garlic makes it more attractive to fish, so that's something you could try, too.

skinned market shrimps. try to starve him for a while, the smell of shrimp is irresistible to fish, i have yet to see one of my fishes ignore market shrimp i feed.

nothing cooked, just raw stuff. as said above, feeding shrimp is a good idea. I'd recommend but may not work at first in your case as the fish was on feeders. good luck. post some pics will ya ?

hi there will post some pics when i find out how to
