Tiger Shovelnose crossed with Red Tail?

hmmm, mine is approaching the 27" mark now. I wonder just how big these monsters can get. I think the biggest that I have heard of is 29" which would make mine the second largest that I have heard of. Just wondering if you guys have ever heard of any bigger than these, or have ever seen on bigger. If you have one please post some pics and a lil story about it for us. I think with hybrid vigor, and from the sizes of the parent species, these fish could definitely get over 4ft. in captivity. Just wondering how long they have been around and what's the biggest anyone has heard of.
i bought one of these little cats about 2 weeks ago and he is awesome i got him for $30 or about 5" is that a good price or was i scammed?
Sounds like a decent price to me. i wouldn't know the price of a small one. I got 4 big hybrids for around two hundred dollars i think, but I don't remember. Here's a pic of mine.
hey zoo york, i was looking at your tank setup and it says you have a sexed pair of RTCs. Just wondering how you did it. I have never heard of anyone being able to sex them. Everyone allways just has speculation about it.

no im thinking one is a male and ones a female i was talking to people online and the guy said normally the females grow larger faster than males sorry about the mistake i will change it
stotty i am starting to think that the two of us show off our hybrids alot. glad to hear your's is growing nicely also. I wasn't trying to be an *** about the sexing of RTCs, just thought you had found a way to do it.
