I have had my TSN for almost a year. He eats very well but has only put one about 4 inches. He is very full bodied though. I don't know if their all get that long, or whether they just become very hearty, bulky fish in an aquarium setting.

I have two one went from 3 1/2" to his current 13" in just a little over 5 months, and his little brother went from the same size to 5 1/2" in just 3 weeks now. I've kept another one that was 26" in a year. Really just depends on water quality and tank size from what I've expirienced. My 26" killed himself by running into the side of the admittedly too small 125 gal that he was in when I first started out. Broke his snout almost completely off.
