I have a TSN and a Pleco both are about a foot in lentgh. I notice my pleco always trying to suck on my TSN. Do any of you encounter this problem?

Might be better to try and ask these questions in the Catfish forum, but I can honestly say no I've never had that problem... my TSN's are either to big or two small to be of concern for my Plecs...

What foods do you give your pleco? It is resorting to sucking slime coats perhaps due to inadequate food diet.

what type of pleco , not all live on just algae , there are many that need meat and wood in there diets to get the correct nutrition

He is sucking the slime off the TSN. You may have to separate them. I used to poke mine with a stick when he was doing it. He finally quit. lol

Separate them! He could hurt your TSN by sucking off his slime coat.

I was thinking of giving the pleco away. Got it for my friend and he hasnt come around to get it.

Algae wafers isn't enough. Tropheus is correct. We'll need pictures to identify your pleco and its dietary requirements.
