Tiger Tank update - 2 backgrounds

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I"m not a fan of the fakey backgrounds. Black or nothing for me ;)

How long did all your dats been stable since you first have them in your tank...Because mine is still hiding when i turn on the light and it been about two months now...Some advice would help..thanks

Started of with 2 indo dats 5 years ago. didnt even know about MFK or fish forums.
Both were never that stable, but i had never seen a "stable " tiger back then, so it didnt bother me.

2 years later, started adding more tigers, gradually to this day now.

Up until year 3, only then did the tigers really start showing their colours, turn stable and remaining stable... Might have been a bigger tank & filtration, maybe adding more tigers, but end of the day, I'd say it was the time factor.

5 years on, and out of 12:
8 eat pellets as staple.
3 are stable 24/7
5 are stable most of the time.
2 are semi
2 are unstable

Pellets better than prawn IMO .

Very nice tank!!!!

What is it about dat's that everybody goes crazy over? Is because they do well with other fish, they are rare???

I just don't see the big deal, no offense tho!!!!
