Friggin politics. No wonder the guy isn't around anymore.

EVERYONE has a bad story or 2 floating around about them. EVERY vendor on here and every hobbyists who sells stuff on here. You simply can't please everyone.

I live within driving distance. I will continue to give the guy $. Because I've been burnt far worse by other people.

Of all the BS on Aquabid I'm sure there are far better candidates to fling ***** at.

good product and reliable information trumps everything. A good reputation is hard to make and easy to break.

This really was not started to bash anyone, just to see if it was possible for him to have a breeding pr.

But I agree reputation is everything.

I dont have rays but isnt a dollar bid to start kind of cheap when I read that something didnt add up.

I've never dealt personally with the seller but from the add I would have believed they would have bred in the past before, but if I was to buy them I would have a few questions to ask first to make sure I was clear on the add. I've found alot of the ray keepers don't speak english so alot of things get lost in translation. Allways best to ask.

It's just nonsense to call them breeders if they haven't bred. Period. Regardless of who is listing them.

Maybe they've bred, in which case by all means call them breeders - but that information wasn't present in the auction and you'd kinda think it would've been there if it was the case.

As to reputation, I thank ShadowStryder for posting his unfortunate experience. As David W said, "A good reputation is hard to make and easy to break."

i didnt see the ad in time but if i saw the word breeders or breeding group i would expect that they have bred b4

not sure whts going on w MN stingray but there has been alot of bad transactions lately...

If someone sold me some 'breeders' & priced them accordingly, they better have had some pups. Otherwise, just list them as 'adults'.
