Agree with the tank sizes above but these guys grow EXTREMELY slow so depending in the disks size now should last you a yr.

they don't grow slow at all they grow fast up to 12 inch then slow down

i would say a 72 long x 30 wide x 30 deep may do for life

i say 30 deep as they some times like to stay vertical in a corner

they don't need much swimming space as they don't swim that much they just chill looking cool
