Tigrinis banned export from Peru?

I hope you hadn't paid much as two of the three are deformed. Can't say I've even ever seen such a deformity in tigs. Makes me wonder if these are from some kind of artificial breeding attempts (I am not aware of successful attempts but it doesnt mean they never happened).

unfortunately I have to agree they are certainly captive bred, you can see the clear difference in head shape and the body shape to mine at this size. Head has the pushed in shape and the body looks like it’s bowing, similar to a lot of the TSN/RTC hybrids you see now. The smallest one has the best head-shape of the 3 but I’m not in love with how the tail is rising like that. I believe all 3 will do fine in your care, but the differences do seem obvious.

I have approached the “new” supplier about that. It was first time with this person and if they leave it as is it most likely will be the last time.
