My 19" tig has broken his nose, so im gonna anaesthetize him and dry wound before bending nose back up and super glue back. Anyone else seen this done before?

Don't superglue a fish &*($@_$&_ The broken off part will never live and will dye off anyways. Don't put the fish in more stress then needed, get some pics of and try to keep the water as good as possible, if possible place him in a seperate tank. I assume he got spooked or attacked wich caused him to swim in the glass?

Get some pics up too.

He was my mates fish, and when came up for sale he kept him for 3 weeks before i could collect, after staving the fish for 3 days he got excited and smashed into glass just before I turned up to collect. Gutted but could hardly walk away as he had kept for me. Nose was already slightly downturned and now even more.

Gonna whip him out tomorrow and see how much movement is there before properly glueing it. Fish is eating fine so just pumping food into before doing it.

Make a video of this it sounds sweet. Good luck with the operation hopefully it ends up working. Have you seen this done before or are you just making up the procedure yourself?
