1yr old tig from 5", though its stripes has morphed couple of times but its still stuck at 13" for the last few months

Agreed! I'm so over the whole "having fish for the sake of having them" fad. Lately, I've only been buying fish I intend to keep for life...quite a contrast from me 2-3 years ago hahaha.

Thanks dd...he's about 14-15" plus another 6-8" of streamers.

Awesome. I can't guarentee I'll have all my fish for life. I have quite a few monsters to be. But, I will have them for a long, long, time. Maybe for life, you never know. A pond here, a pond there. Monster fish keepers just go day to day. When a fish is outgrowing his space something else has to be bought or built, or find him a better home. Fortunatelly for me I know someone who will take all my overgrown monsters for free, ya free, but atleast I know they are going to a good home in very large confinements.

For the sake of this thread, here's a recent shot of my old tig. I'm so happy that he went to a good home, and now is happily residing a 4000 gallon tank!

Don't be that he's stuck at 13", that is one really nice tig. He has one of the most straight line patterns that I have seen yet. Very very nice.

This fish is one the of best looking cats I have ever see in person. And it HAMMERS pellet harder then anything I have ever seen. you can hear it eat from across the room.
