I always drip acclimate. Then once placed in tank the lights go off- and no food for 24-48 hours.

Also when you catch the fish you should of use a bag to catch instead of a net. I do notice that a net will stress and injure Tigs, much more then a bag. I know red at the base of the fins are one of the symptoms of septicemia, but I did some research in the past and noticed that the red fins are very common when the tig not liking the water.
I think the whole shipping and transportation process is just really stressful for these sensitive fish in general. I hope they are much better once they settle down after a while.
