I see the crazy for tigrinus come and go they must be seasonal

I saw a few members get them a few months back so just wanted to see how they have grown

Or even if you was able to keep the small tigs alive

Mine is about 10" now. I have never had any health issues. He has gone on a hunger strike a few times. I got him off of live the first couple weeks. He was only a little over 3" when I got him. I haven't been able to get him on pellets yet, but he eats them stuffed in tilapia chunks. I will get a couple pictures tomorrow. This picture is a few months old. He had just lost his upper streamer, but I don't remember what happened now.

I have to say, even though I think it is a beautiful fish, it is one of the less exciting fish I have owned.

Why ex, if he was your pride and joy?

Is it common for them to die at that size, I've had mine for a year now and he's doing fine he's about 19" hope that's just a myth, let me know if you have any more info on that
