With two trials he did not react well to the Kanamycin, it may be the sulfates reacting with sulfites in Prime????? IDK, he would go white within hours of dosing the Kanamycin. Tomorrow I will do Maracyn II.
HMMM, THE TAIL ON MINE LOOKS SIMULAR. MINE IS EATING FINE, SO I DON' THINK IT IS TOO MUCH CONCERN??
if he was always like that I wouldn't be concerned, but it is a new development in the last couple weeks. The color comes back nice though, that is an effect of the Kanamycin. I am also concerned about a white/yellow poop which is a clear indication of internal bacteria/septicemia. I am going to use Maricyn II today and see how it goes. I am determined not to loose this guy!
He is not reacting badly to the Maracyn II, it is a 5 day treatment so I will keep you posted. His stripes are back to normal now and perfect again.
Whew... I was reading this and wondering if it was a parasite or something ... had me leaning into the screen trying to figure it out as you were going LOL ... Glad everything worked out well for you
