Yes sturgeons. They were 8" and she ate them.
 
She also killed a male he had. She has eaten many fish. She is aggressive at eating and all around. So far she has not shown aggression towards my male.
 
The trick with any mixed comm is the right size fish and keeping everything well fed

I wouldn't put the tig in with rays until it's 12"

All the fish you have stated the ray has killed have been much smaller than that

You need to feed heavy so the rays have no need to hunt fish

Yes it will make the rays a little less active but that's a small price to pay for a mixed comm that works

Fill he up and she will stop kiting fish

If I don't fill my big females up they would fight like crazy and I would lose loads of fish

I wasn't gonna try until the tig was over 12".

I fill them up and she still takes out fish. It doesn't help she may be prego though. She ate a ton just before she tried to eat that geo. That geo is about 4" belly to back and she tried. She also tried for my 10" kel and my 14"+ silver aro. She has a 14" disc.

The male ray she killed was 20" disc.
 
Thanks. His main diet is krill, cut fish and pellets right now. I will be reducing the krill and increasing the cut fish as it grows larger.
 
Well I sold it. Didn't want to risk it with my big rays. Also sold the female Motoro he was with.
