Tigrinus vs. Jurnese

Juruense are slightly larger, and the white stripes arent quite as white, more yellow.

Have a 6" juruense I'm growing on, and will hopefully be getting a tig in a few weeks time

Personaly I like them both, have seen some truely stunning juruense, but have also seen some juruense that are almost all black and you can hardly see the stripes.

Tigs are pretty much always stunning, yet to see a "dull" tig.

For the record my juruense is really nice, but havnt got any pics of him yet

in my area Jurs cost around 70$
while a Tigrinus are around 200$

The best prices for tigs are definately with the vendors here.A local store is selling them for six hundred dollars.

Like the juruense myself had a lil guy 3-4" or so. Fragile & disease pron cat was growing nicely but got ick then some other nasty disease. Paid $50 or so for the sweet lil guy. Saw one at a lfs for $399 (JURUENSE) was over a foot and some change looked good but activity wise for $399 not with it. Guy at store sad he sat there only moved and got viscious for guppies.
