Tigrinus Vs. Leiarius Pictus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Most everything about the lp has already been covered. Very active, attractive, mellow cat. So far the only territorial problems I've had were with the lp and two marble cats. No go. Sometimes fish just don't get along with other fish that have similar body shapes. Now they all live in seperate tank's. They weren't raised together though, for what it's worth. Also the lp didn't get along with my rhino pleco. That's my big one. The smaller one lives with a ripsaw cat and they get along fine. Different body shape? (Maybe only time will tell). For the united states that price is the avg. price for that size of cat. And you get to see him first, which is a good bonus. Needless to say my vote goes for the lp. Great choice. You'll enjoy.

Thanks for the info doubledragon! The LP seems just what im looking for behavior wise, though I do like the zebra pattern on the tig!

Anybody with a Tig wanna chime in about personal experience on how they behave? Ill be leaving in a half hour, and im coming home with one or the other :)

When it comes to the tig. Your right the pattern is hard to beat. Never had a tig. I do have a tsn and if the tig acts anything like him, still the lp all the way!!! Plus with the lp you get that super high sailfin and the way the feel around the tank with their whiskers is like no other catfish I've ever owned and I have and had alot of catfish.
