I HAVE A SMALL ONE HES ALMOST 6 INCHES. HES IN A 55 GALLON IS THERE A WAY TO TELL IF HES A BOY OR GIRL.. HE LIVES WITH A PECOCK CICHLIDS AND A SYLITHSIS WE , AND A DEMPSEY. I BOUGHT A BIG RED DEVIL PLECO ABOUT 9 INCHES AND THAT HIS ONLY COMPETION SO FAR.. BUT HES VERY TIMID. ALWAYS HIDEING FROM ME! WHYS THAT

I had one a while ago with some other big fish - The pike was over 12" and the butterkuffi was about 16" and thick....monster fish in width, height and thickness

the down side was he was a tank killer - along with my red tail catfish.....
eventually it was just those two psychopaths in the tank. I had to save what I could and start other tanks. The most aggresive fish I ever had - not including Piranhas. They are all like that if they make it to maturity (had a few of them)

Thanks guys...no longer have those fish or tank. Went with a slightly larger tank and more peaceful fish :)

The fish which I dont see around anymore in the picture was what they called a mozambique. He is the purple color fish, and I havent seen another one like him since.

He now lives in my 180Gal. with a 9" shovel nose cat (pima) a 26" Fire Eel, a Belly Crawler pike, a TRUE Nile Bichir and a 5" Jack Dempsy. Oh yeah, and a small shcool of Silver Dollars (they keep order)! His aggression has really changed for the better and no longer hassles my others since I moved the Heros Severum (Green).
