I had 4 vacuum sealed Tilapia fillets, 3 of them got freezer burned. I was getting ready to toss the 4th one since theres no point in cooking just 1, and we don't like Tilapia. Then I decided hey why not dice it up and toss it in the tank, I tell you what the all loved it, they where going crazy devouring it all. The fillet was big enough for at least 3 or 4 feedings, so I put it in a Tupperware container, and will feed them the rest tomorrow for their lunch and dinner feedings.

I am sure others have done this, do you think there is any nutritional value? or just a nice treat for them? I figure its less risky then feeder fish but also likely less nutrition if any; not that feeders have much nutritional value.

When I could not get some more fish food I just grabbed some Tilapia out of the freezer and diced it into small cubes and they tear through it, It's very healthy for them and I recommend everyone feed them Tilapia ever so often.
