Tilapia

Just fed my cichlids tilapia for the first time and omg they went crazy for it!! I just was wondering if there is anything bad about feeding them tilapia because all I iv herd was good things?

It depends on the type of fish you're feeding. Some types like Mbuna are prone to bloat if fed a diet too high in protein. An occasional treat is fine but it's not recommended as part of a staple diet.

Well i feed it as a staple along with market shrimp and catfish switching off everyday to my endlicheri and senegal bicher. Sometimes my severum gets a piece and she loves it but new life spectrum is her main diet. And other various cichlid i have i give tilapia to them 1 or 2 time a week. Except when i had african i didnt feed it too them at all like stated

I wouldn't feed as a daily regiment just because you want to watch protein factors, but it is perfectly good for fish p.s. I spoil mine 2

What are the fish you are feeding it to? That will determine if it is bad or good.
