I did on one of my 180 worked good for me and yes algae will grow on it . I have a 480 with rays that I'd like to do white tile on I found some 2' tile I think bigger the better so it's easier for maintenance

Yeah will try get as bog pieces as possible so less cuts also. Although I have a trapezium shaped centre weir so going to be fun to try and cut it to fit nicely.

I have a massive algae scrubber on my tank that removes loads every week and since installing haven't had any algae in main display at all and light in main tank isn't on often so hopefully algae won't be a huge issue
