Silicone makes it a little forgiving.

Actually makes it very forgiving if you consider the amount of flex that can happen in these types of ponds, I've personally built small removable streams in malls this way and never had a complaint or leak that I was aware of... The cost factor is more than you might expect though cause it actually used ALOT more silicone than you think plus the cost of tiles... it would have been cheaper to use Fiberglass (but when you being paid ... the Customer gets what the Customer wants :grinyes:)

There is a epoxy grout. Its very expensive though 100% waterproof. Pain to worth with though. Nothing like regular grout

Your a bad man Dr joe...

There should not be much flex in it as the ply is very well supported! So should I use normal grout to stick the tile to the ply, then silicone the gaps or will silicone to hold too?

Ya, I know... Years & Years of practice :D.

I would go that way, make your grout seams .25" and like I said, clean the tile edges well to degrease them. You can get GE 1200 silicone in several colors (?) http://www.crlaurence.com/ProductPages/S/SCS1209_1121.html?Origin=

Now you just have to pick out the tile :ROFL::ROFL:.
