Thank you very much. This new surgeon is awesome, I have complete faith in him. Once I'm done with this one hopefully it will be at least six months before I get cut on again. I have a feeling that rehab is going to be tough though.
Maybe rehab won't be as bad as you think.. if this surgeon does as well as i expect... and you expect...then rehab should run smooth... but rehab does take your full attention and your full desire to improve ... so in all honesty mostly up to you and your ambition to be normal again.. i still cannot believe you have to go through this again in 6 months.. i hope after that your surgery free........for some years..... i will say a special prayer for you... are you having surgery in the am? one thing i ask... please let us know asap how your doing.. maybe have a laptop come visit you in the hospital.....

The surgery will be outpatient so I should be home tomorrow afternoon. The surgery is at 8:00ish tomorrow morning. If I don't remember to post an update just post something on this thread and I will receive a reminder e-mail. :D

If the stars align and therapy goes really well I may be able to hold off longer on the next surgery. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Again thank you for the prayers, they are always welcome.

Man , I remember how complicated the other got I can't believe how quick you have to go back. Best of luck man. Prayer goes out for a smooth process and speedy recovery.

I had my Ankle worked on last year twice. First time was basically incomplete. Second time around the surgeon got it straight and it feels better than ever.

Best of luck man ,

Taylor

good luck, hope this one goes well seeing as you have faith in your surgeon.

i wont be getting cut again, they couldnt get it right the first 6 times.

I'll let them cut on me as many times as it takes to get it right, just not the same surgeon that worked on me the first two times. I went from someone that raced bikes (road and mountain bikes) constantly, rode at leat 6,000 miles a year to someone that is miserable and spends most of his time setting on a couch with the only "activity" being racing radio control cars.

I went from being very happy and active to being completely miserable and it is affecting all aspects of my life.

I hope this works out for you. My doctor didnt order any rehab for me but also placed no restrictions on what I could do. Im just not physically able to start working it out on my own yet. It still hurts everyday(its bearable though).

I will most likely start rehab within two weeks. My goal is to be on a bike doing some easy rides within a month. :D
