instead of focusing on force feeding pellets.. just use uncooked shrimp and fish fillets.

I understand about goldfish, why not Fathead minnows. Is it because they are from the carp family?

i agree...i have never had a piranha that wouldnt readilt accept fresh shrim or smelt. why not give this a try?

Gotcha, So this leads me to my next question then. Are minnows from bait shops usually shiners, fatheads, chubs or what. They always just label them as minnows. So how do you tell?

2 months may seem like a long time for humans not to eat but a healthy piranha can easily survive a dry season with little to no food for way past 2 months
