time in 240?

you sure theres that much difference between a 180 and a 240?? i only paid £240 for a new 240, that seems alot, unless i am missing something?

630$ for glass 180 locally, $1450 for acrylic 240 new is the generall price. this is tank only, i still have to build my own stand.
 
ohh, i always thought tanks were cheaper in the US as there seems to be more people with monster tanks:headbang2
 
its because if we have a 180 gal U.S. tank, it's only 150 gallons to you :)

EDIT: Just took alook at their website and the closest point for delivery/pick up is Albuquerque, New Mexico and the fee is $150 for a 240g long tank only.

i thought every one here speaks only in uk gallons
