I had a P.B a while back and it went dull, After reading your post I reckon thats what happened to it.

Also,
How many P.B's can be kept together? Providing tank space off course.

Yes, Eventually I want to create a set up to allow for me to experiment with this theory.

anyways- answer to your question.

You can have as many cichla as you want together. They are shoaling preds and work togehter (usually) when hunting schooling fish... kinda like dolphins

My next set up will host 100 cichla.
 
100 cichla would be crazy I almost go broke feeding my 3 cichla

I assume you are speaking of a pond because I can't even comprehend 100 cichla in a indoor tank :eek:

i have 3 lights on my 180 .. 2 normal and 1 uv.. when the 2 normals were on them azul looked like ****... but when the uva was left just one all my fish looked mint...

looking good...how mnay do you have

SA had a bunch of babys around .5" -1" last time i was there.... im was trying to talk my dad into buying 50 of them for his 265
