Time to choose

i want to house it in a 45 gallon i donno that seems good since they grow slow. when they get to be around 6'',7'' i will most likely build or buy at least a 120 gallon for him
 
If you go with any rhom you'll have lots of time to upgrade the tank. Serras grow about an inch a year at optimal conditions
 
pirahnas are like the scum of all fish ...once u have your fun with them you move on to the real fish :headbang2
 
i love my p's its not about aggression or anything else. its about the true beautfy of this fish, there raw power and quickness. in your mind do u call a real fish? sum ugly ass catfish? or sum retarded looking knife fish. dude everyone has a kind of fish they love. dont be hating on p's there great fish :swear:
 
RobD, I don't like piranha for their reputations, I outgrew that in junior high.
I love their looks and the way they sort of hover back up among the plants. Beautiful fish. Everybody has different tastes, I don't like Oscars or flowerhorns, it doesn't mean they are "scum" or not "real fish", or do you think everyones tanks should be exactly alike and everyone should keep just the fish you like?
 
agree with guppy on this one.
i dont have piranha anymore and have moved onto real fish LOL.
i would buy another piranha no problem it was never the rep for me i liked the look of them.
