tin foil barbs with rays

as the title says

has anyone kept a group of tin foil barbs with rays

I'm thinking of adding a group to brake the aggression with my aros but have never kept them before

are they prone to white spot

do they nip at the rays

if it wont work i will think of something else

Should be ok, Ive done this combo to displace agression as well.....

Should be fine, just qt first, they always get white spot when they come from the wholesaler at least, if you are getting them from an established tank you may be less concerned.

I have seen a school of tinfoils with rays before and when I get my big tank up I will also add a school of about 5 large tinfoils for clean up.

its the big temp drop at water change time im worryed about

clown loach cant handle it in my tank

so do they get white spot/ick with big temp drops

They should be fine.

temp should be fine.... i have kept tinfoils with rays before and never had a problem... well 1 problem you gotta really feed the tinfoils before the rays will get food but thats it

tinfoils can eat so much they are like dustbins
you will have to throw a lot more food in so some gets to the bottom
thats the only problem i can see

I've kept a school of 5 tinfoil barbs with my rays before, they are extremely hardy and in my experience they never got whitespot. The only thing was, like other members have said the tinfoil barbs never allowed any food to get to the bottom for the rays to eat.
