Yeah, I would keep a school of barbs. However, some things to remember:

Turtles create a massive bioload, which will make maintaining fish in the same enclosure challenging.

Tinfoil barbs are very fast and aggressive feeders, and could potentially outcompete the turtle for food.

Don't ever keep any fish with a turtle that you aren't prepared to see eaten.

I wanna see pictures of this setup, it sounds like it's gonna be sick :headbang2

I very much agree. By the way, would you mind explaining your profile pic? lol

Animal Planet was great when it was Corwin and Croc Hunter, but now it's all reality shows and, worse, scare tactics. Instead of trying to instill respect, they peddle fear and ignorance with endless animal attack shows. It's quite harmful and counters their previous message of conservation.

I used to love animal planet, now it's a lll about net geo.. I hate when the Sasquatch show is on and although treehouse master's is pretty good....id rather watch it on some other network

I couldn't agree more. I almost never watch animal planet anymore for that reason.
