Tint Film Wallpaper/Background DIY

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have frosted window film on my 180 that has a nice texture to it, but the light color doesn't do anything for photos.
Thank you for sharing this product, I think I will try adding it to the back of the textured window film I have on the tank already so I will have the texture and dark color I am looking for.

Several years back I had my 125g tinted with 2%. It looked nice but if you had light shining / light bleed from the back you can see right through it.

I now plastidip the back glass. Works better than the tint and is scratch resistant as long as you build up multiple light coats.

This is what I did to my 135. It was my husbands idea since he said paint would just scratch off. Lol
It work great and I’m happy with it except for one thing.... we have pets. So hair was instantly drawn to the film. It’s not noticeable what pen the light is pulled toward the front, but I know it’s there. Haha. But I’d say that it the only down side to using the black out tint film. And for none pet owners this isn’t a problem.
