that would be my guess too. i catch toads that look like that and are that size all the time when im hiking
 
A Bufo? Never heard of it...Hey Seth, if you have them, does that mean I have them where I am?

Yeah it's most likely an American Toad (Bufo americanus), they're very common in our area of the country. If you ever go to a pond and see 100's of those little tiny black tadpoles, it's these guys. It could also be a Fowler's Toad (Bufo fowleri) but most likely it's the first choice.

looks just like a baby toad, up north by the lake when they all hatched they were everywhere, you had to watch your step...
