I could, in theory, hook up a heat pad, although money-wise it would be easier to get some kind of temperate dwelling Amphibian.

You'd risk melting the tub with a heating pad. Heat should be provided by overhead lighting, anyway. I think you'd be better off with something that doesn't require heating, like a pac man frog.

I rescued a small Green Tree Frog that was being kept in a zero humidity chain store tank with an empty water dish. I added some perches out of dried out sticks and mist daily. He's doing well and eating :)

spring peepers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! theyre so tiny and cool you could fit a bunch in there

Nice save :D

Okay.....Here's my take.....

First off, you have an empty tub, why not keep it empty? If you're going to do it, myswell do it right the first time........

2nd, Pygmy Chams are incredibly easy to keep alive, with little maintenence.......I know I keep them in tubs........

Point is, your going to get something, keep it in a tub, and get bored with it. Unless you have a Polycarbonite tub, which you can actually see through.......

Nah, I'll never get bored of my animals. And even if I do, they still get the same feeding and care, and I don't get rid of animals. I don't fully understand what you're saying?
