Tiny white worms?

I like coarse sand. I have some nice sand in my African tank and would love to do the same in my SA/CA tank but I haven't been able to find a grain size large enough. All the pool filter sand I have seen is black or grey and I want a tan or white color. Also I can't order anything off the web, so my selection is limited to what I can find locally.
