Tiny Worm Things?

Hey guys so I just noticed in my fry tank that there's countless number of tiny thread-like things swimming around. Any idea what they may be and whether or not they may be dangerous to my american fries (they're about a week old)? I know the description is vague but I don't really know what they are at all. They're just very tiny and range from 1-2mm in length (approximate).

Every once in awhile when I do a water change on a tank I will get these small whiteish/clearish worms in my tank (they look like an alage hanging on the glass at first), I just scrub/do another water change and they dissappear. I have had no problems with my fish yet because of it.... though a lot of worms are also not good. I am not sure what kind of worm you have. Try to research worms online and see if you can ID your worm - that might be more helpful. It really just depends on the type of worm you have..

Could be planaria. An indication of excess food in the tank.

How do people get planaria? I throw fish, moss, rocks and driftwood from the river and never get them. I do get the hair like nematodes occasionally but the minnows and goldfish in my sump put a stop to them when they have population booms.
