some time 3 in 90gallon work, some time it's doesn't work for other. It's just individual experience.

As for filteration goes, it's good to have lots of filteration as many current. Piranha like current and they also a messy eater.

You'll want a filter rated for a tank BIGGER than the one you have, if you can go for x2 filtration, you'll be in fabulous shape!!

Example, you have a 30 now, go for a 60 g filter.

Something I've done with my boy now that he's bigger, I took the end cap off of the filter, so that it pulls the larger particles out of the water. The slits on the cap were too small for anything not microscopic to go through.

Funny story, my filter was running slow, I tried everything to fix it, kept trying for 20 minutes, then noticed a flow valve and turned it and BOOM!! I had a nice current back!! THEN my fiance tells me that he thinks he turned it down!! >.< ...men!!

Good advise on the filtration! Thank you everybody.

So last night, after the little guys had gotten situated and seemed to be exploring the tank a little bit, I tried feeding them. They ate a little but didn't seem real interested. This morning I tried feeding them again and they went to town. They hardly let any of the pellets sink before they ate them up. This after noon they ate all their lunch and don't seem to be even a little big aggressive towards each other. There are no signs of fins being nipped and when ever I have been watching they don't chase each other around.

I've been feeding them Spectrum Thera +A 1mm sinking pellets. The people at the lfs feed this to them while they are in the store and it's what they recommended to me. What is the overall feeling of this food?
