why would the sides bow in? They appear straight, and the tank is full, so I don't think they could possibly bow in. I emailed tenecor and they said that any acrylic will have a certain amount of bowing. That doesn't help me feel any better really. The tank has been filled for a few days now and it has not gotten worse or better so it seems stable.
I figure it is common for the top of acrylic tanks to bow upward after time due to the sides bowing outward. So maybe it is okay that it is bowing inward because after time it may "even out" instead of bowing upward? Who knows...
