Tips on choosing Synspilum from LFS?

I wish I can share with you some picks of these fish but Im not living on the net and dont have a URL address to post picks from. If you can get your hands on a book called Cichlids From Central America you will see true Synspilus from juvie to adult. The kind we were collecting in the early eighties. Now its very hard to find the real thing. The one you have is pretty dam good looking. You got a nice fish there monsta!

I just happen to have that book by Ad Konings copyright 1989. Pulled it out as you suggested and there are several pages on the synspilus. Great pictures and articles. Sometimes I get so focused using the internet I forget to use a great resource called books! Thanks for the tip darippa.
