Yes, but as I said they don't really grow. The only way you'll get a big one, is if you buy a big one.

yeah. I tend to paste them after a little boil and turn off the powerhead... it can become a bit of a snowglobe otherwise.

alright guys im having the same problem.. my tank is a 20 gal long with 3 other plecos. i put some romaine in there and my blue phantom devoured most of it, then i broke up an algea wafer and put it in there around the tank overnight. I woke up and all of it was gone but my golden nuggets stomach still looks like its starving.

feed more food... stuff like bloodworms are good for small Baryancistrus. Check the dietry thread.

unfortunately i have a small catfish taht will eat it. I just picked up some sinking meaty pellets i'll give them a try tonight when lights go out.

Something such as Hikari sinking carnivore pellets would go down fine.
