tips to remove saltwater stains on glass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
okay...looks like majority rules! lol.....
just that when one has a collection that definetly would be costly to replace? ya just dont take chances with ~iffy~ things.....
guess i will have to consider it a possiblity if i come up against the problem...

i love salt tanks...unfortunately they can be a pain too though, when we moved a good size tank? the salt had eaten all the paint off the wall behind it...it was set up for a few years, so guess it had taken time, but what a mess...

:WHOA:

There are reasons to be able to see behind the tank huh?! (hope it wasn't your home! :()

I've chipped it off in small sheets before.

Face it everyone .. the one solution to this problem that everyone overlooked...and it was the most important one... ELBOW GREASE...Why is it that everyone is afraid of alittle hard work? LOL

Great job Midnight...I'll trade you 12 ten gallons for it LOL (thats more than Dr joes 2 55's LOL)

yea doc, wasnt our home, but that made it worse! cause we found the damage when breaking down that salt tank, so had some unforseen wall repairs to do before we left.....scrapping it down, few plaster smears, sand it down smooth again, and repaint! bleck.....
now we have our own home, but we dont have salt up, though i wouldnt count it out someday, lol....

not afraid of elbow grease for sure....but like laundry, why use a rock and crouch beside a stream, than use a washing machine eh?

there is a product i use called "the works" and it is in the toilet bowl products isle ...i use it to clean any white salt or hard water marks and stains off of glass or the Tetra hang on back filters ...works wonders...hence the name "The Works"...any who dont use it bar handed cuz it stings your hands alittle bit but if your carful its not bad...also where safety glasses ...makes lids or hob filters and such almost good as new...try nsome today...L8tr X:headbang2

looks good midnight...
