Would they work out or not just curious, and the eel is about 6 inch, and the aro 3 1/2 inch.

I wouldn't do it until the aro is bigger. (8") The aro just might be a snack at that size, and aros that small really shouldn't have any tankmates from my experience.

You should be ok. The eel has an EXTREMELY small mouth and I highly doubt the arowana can fit in it. I have a fire eel with my jardini arowana, although they are bigger the arowana is like 15 inches now and the eel's probably about 13 or so. They get along well however.

The eels are pretty smart, and seem to know to stay out of the way of more agressive fish.

But a 3.5" aro is extremely fragile and thin. I wouldn't risk it.

Ya, Dont matter anymore, eel died, got stuck in the filter.
