if your wood working skills are decent, you could run a "small" pvc pipe along the floor and hide it behind some floor trim (if thats what its called) till you find a way out of the house...

I use a python with 2’ gravel tube and with 50’ of hose to both empty and fill 3 tanks weekly when doing changes. You do not have to have the water running to make it drain. The only time you may run into a problem is if your sink or wherever you are draining it to is higher than the tank. I run my hose out the front door. The wife’s flowers love it! Lol!

So do mine. At times, I use my waste fish water from water changes for my potted indoor plants and outdoor garden plants, shrubs and trees. As a professional Gardener and landscaper, used commercial fish fertilizer to start plants out. It can (not always) attract flies in the summer.
