Tiretrack eel Question

Try some frozen krill. Spiny eels seem to find krill/shrimp irresistible.

Also, try placing the frozen cube of bloodworms in your substrate while it is still frozen so it creates a pocket of bloodworms--do this near his usual hang out spot if he has one.

Mine and the ones at the shop I was running all took to NLS with no problems.

New Life Spectrum.

Mine took pellets right off the bat. Was eating live at the LFS but ate pellet the first day home. Every fish will be different, though.

Yeah, mine was one of the best eaters I have ever had, besides pacus. IT was always the first to the feeding bowl. In nine months it went from six to twenty inches.

I think it can be hit or miss though because I have seen some that either won't convert to prepared or are full of parasites.

went to my lfs and they said to try giving him some Hikari sinking carnivore pellets
so i tried it out
he just swims right over it then swims away
he is eating the frozen bloodworms tho

should i keep with the bloodworms? my LFS was all out of frozen krill too
what other foods would he accept? would it take frozen brine shrimp as well?
and how often should i be feeding them?
