live fish has some nutrition but not alot they would need other foods try as many differnt things as you can
Ye i try to vary the food, live fish is just one of them.

But how about the 3 clown loaches i bought the other day, they are around 4cm(1.5inch), guess they can fit into the mouth of a 20cm(8inch) tiretrack ?

As soon as the light canopy is finished i will go and buy the tiretrack.

Just wondering... coule a tiretrack live in a 75g tank for life? Or wouldit need something along the lines of 125/180 gallon? I REALLY want one of these guys.

Seriously doubt it if you want to give the TT a decent life.
Have a 540L(150*60*60centimeter) and a bigger one for my current TT(16inch) wouldnt hurt.

Btw, how good are these shrimps as food ?
Dont know the name in english but translated it si northsea shrimp, the latin name is Pandalus borealis.

Cool bro, thanks the info. I'm getting a 180G in a couple months, and I'm thinking about growing a tire track or a fire eel out in it.

He will begin to have rapid breathing.
Whats considered as rapid breathing ?
100-120 breaths a minute rapid ?

My external filter broke down last night so im down from 25L filtervolym to 10L, an external fluval 403 and 2 internal on 2L each, used "old" filtermaterial in all 3 filters.
Could a no2-spike be the cause of the(what i believe is) rapid breathing ?

What kind of eel could live in a 85G for life? And one for a 55G?
