Wow tobias gratz i read ur article is very touching and u are erally love on keeping fish cause already 10 year u been kept i really hope got sucess like ur but i only got 2 X 3ft tank with one silver and one jar aros thx for ur video to gave me inspiration of keeping aros i m ur fans forever and hey as i said i got 2 X 3ft tank one is on top one is in bottom but my silver seem so skittish peopel walk by or just stand in far away he will keep jump til mad so i plan on move he from the top tank to bottom tank and turn the tank light of u think will this clam he ? my heart was like slice by sword seeing his scale fall pls feedback T.T:nilly:

Hey bro thank you so much for the support. im honoured :) Arowanas generally do not do as well in tanks as they do in tubs or ponds. this is because many of them dont really like being exposed to everything. There are 3 solutions to your problem:

1.) Get a bigger tank since silvers do not do very well in 3 foot tanks and need much more space to feel safe and secure. unfortunately 3 feet may not be enough for long term.

2.) Transfer him to a pond or tub where he cant see the sides and will feel more secure.

3.) SPEND more time with him and interact/talk to him. Don't worry about him being scared. the more time u spend with him the more familiar with humans he will be!
 
The article was great, I also was flipping through right after I opened it and saw the pond and thought, hey I recognize that! Well Done!

I was reading this article and KNEW I recognized that monstrous pond from here :) Beautiful job, glad to see you're being recognized for all the hard work.

Thank you so much! I don't really seek the recognition but it sure feels good to get paid hahahhaa. It's a privilege that someone would pay me to do something i love and enjoy :D
