TLkmDN's 13,000 GALLON POND UPDATE (koi and others)!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They're looking nice! Can't wait to see the others join them:)

I would like you to apply the feeding method that I told you to do in the koi-Arapima tanks for the pond. Summer is the season that fish grow very fast, so do the feeding in the early morning and late afternoon is good to keep the fishes growing and avoid the sick growing of the algae!

hey ive seen all of your videos on youtube and i love your pond. do you stil have your snackhead, giant gouramis in your pond?
unfortunately the snakeheads are gone. one of them passed away from an internal bleeding injury and the other disappeared in the pond (assumed eaten???) and yes both GGs are still in the pon. theyve grown heaps and are ding well :)

that is the way I used to do when i have a lot of outdoor tanks, the algae will absorb the nutrients from food fastest when the light is brightest, the midday high temperature in tropical country like Malaysia help them grow even faster. So feeding your fishes in the morning and late after noon when the light is less bright and cooler temperature give the algae less chance to absorb the nutrients before the filter take them!
