Hey guys....as sum of u know ive been constructing a new fish tank while my parents renovate the downstairs part of out house! The new tank measures 9ft by 3ft by 3ft. I did not build this myself. It is built by hired pond/tank builders (same people who did my pond). The progress is amazingly fast! It has only been 3 days but u can see the full size of the tank!

These pictures include the destruction of the old tank and the construction of the new....hopefully u can see the size difference :)

Finished pictures will come in a few weeks or so :)

Fish plans for the tank: I plan on growing out a pair of pimas to put in the pond. They shud be ready for transfer in around 3 months or so....maybe more depending on how monster i want them to be :s After the pimas, the tank will become a showpiece part of the house....soooooo STINGRAYS! i wana collect all types of beautiful rays like tigers...leopoldi...etc etc....

PS: i am open to any suggestions for what i shud do with my new tank :)

Cool, I recommend a few cichla...:headbang2
just as long as they dont disturb the paimas or the rays cuz if they do, they are going straight into the pond....which probably means they will turn into lunch...

That's gotta be something like 600 gallons right?
haha yeh 606 gallons to be precise...ure pretty darn accurate!!!

Awww...kind of sad to see the old one get destroyed. It couldn't be stored away or sold? Looked like it was attached to the base?

Can't wait for this to be finished! Your other tank and pond in particular are always great as far as I have seen. I cringed at the sight of the other tank being smashed though.
