Thats kinda what Im saying. I just think pimas take over a tank when they are so large. I think it would have much more color and the fish would co-exist better if you added cichla instead of pimas. Dont get me wrong....pimas are cool. But not as cool as a school of cichla.

Cichla should not bother the rays...they are mainly upper level fish. The only problem is getting food to the rays. But that is an easy thing to fix.

You should add a mekong giant stingray to the pond. That would be sick too, or Nile perch, or how about some lungfish? Like WAL, AUL, or SAL. Large phase wouldn't be a problem.

lol a mekong ray!?!? that wud be near impossible for me to find tho i was actually going to buy a lungfish for my tank but held back cuz i wouldnt be ablt to put any fish with them for fear of MURDER

This is going to be a great thread, It's a shame you had to destroy the old tank.

Hah, you get a good strain of paima and you would get color too

Nah, you got enough bottom dwellers in da pond already - though a himantura ray ... hmmm have not seen one in private collection yet. i think we get live one here from time to time.

Whoa upgrading your tank thread - finally. Go rays definitely for bottom and since you are in KL and all - go asian aros for the top of the tank. There is nothing else that would befit your tank ... although if you wanna be different, a payara is quite impressive. Armatus ... i was planning to get this one but then i moved out ....

Hey man the new tank is awesome. I like your plan on the type of fish you want for it, despite what a few ppl are saying.

Quick question, If you have all the stuff that's in your pond now, plus you add the pimas to it, will your pond be considered full? or do you think fish could still be added?

nah ure absolutely right...the pond is already getting crowded, especially since the fish are still growing....if i get pimas, those will be my absolute last fish for the pond!
