haha yeh i found sum pimas here. very expensive because they are getting more and more rare but i wud still buy them if my tank is empty. The green arow will not go in the pond for a long time tho. he is growing slower than my other fish! the jar has not grown much bcause the tank fish have been sick so they didnt eat for quite a while but they r OK now :)

THe only fish i really want are pimas but most of all....PIRAIBA CATFISH! i see them in all the fish documentaries and really feel like they look like great white sharks! i really want one but so hard to find :(

OOOOOOOOO buy buy buy!!!! you are really missing out on paimas, mate. yeah, i hear about your slow growing green. My BB is very fickle eater. the red is much bigger than BB (eventhough BB was a lot bigger initially).

Sick tank?! what happened? infection from feeders? ... or forgot to change water - jk.

Piraiba hmmm yes that would make your monster pond really beastly ^^

my plan is to powerfeed the tank to the max until mid to late december. then move ALL THE AROWS in the pond (risk it all LOL) and buy a pair of pimas. But it all depends on how much they grow. fingers crossed they will hit a growth spurt!!!! :s

Planning early x-mas i see ^^

I am contemplating moving my jar in with RTCs - i don't think they will eat him - i am afraid that they may kill him just for the sake of it hmmm besides i recon i would rather settle in paimas first before jar claims cat territory as dragon land. jar is already shorter than paimas but still bulkier (by alot).

hmmm then can move BB into jar tank and remove divider (or how i tried several times to mix red and BB -it is hopeless, red really does not tolerate or can't stand BB) ...hmmm another option is to move red with the silvers (once paimas are gone) ... that tank got heaps of natural sunlight so good for color development (but then he may pounce on X-back) ........ ahhhhh don't know what to do but having to sacrifice 8' an 7' tanks for two asian aros seems excessive and i am too much of a hoarder to get rid of one :D

nice!! LOVING IT!

maybe wen i lose sum weight, get fit and look hot. then ill be happy to pose for the MFK population. However, swimming in that pond wud put certain body parts at great risk!

Which fish in there are dangerous?

all catfish have large sharp spikes next to their side fins. they can slice u up pretty badly! plus my giant silver arow may get territorial and BITE ME! not to mention nasty pacu bites which apparently hurt more than anything (they usually crack nuts with their teeth). most of all i have a constantly pissed off jardini biting anything that comes near.

so wats dangerous? pick ure poison :s
