TLkmDN's *new* OSCARS in POND! (14/7/09)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Are you worried the alligator gar will eat them? I have a 13 inch alligator gar that grabbed a 8 inch peacock bass. He let it go - but it was a close call. From experience - keep a watchful eye.

haha so far everything had been OK....my gars are pretty slow and fat cuz they eat tonnes of dead fish every other day...but ure right i shud probs keep a close eye on them! im just worried cuz the gars r gona continue growing like mad whereas the oscars will stop growing at about 12 inches :s thats where trouble might happen...maybe ill move the O's into my tank lol

Those Oscars must look so small compared to everyone else

I love to see a pic of them swimming near the RTC just to see the size diffrence. :D

AS PROMISED!!! sorry it was night-time x_X....

I know the gar looks larger than the RTC in one of the pics...but altho they r catching up in size they r not quite larger...YET...the gar was just close to the surface whereas the RTC always at the bottom - hence the illusion.

yer they r only 10'' each...so far no attempts to eat them...fingers crossed!!! altho they are not much longer than sum of the fish or feeders that i use as food, they r much taller in height and thicker in girth. maybe that will save them for the time being :s
