Brillant pond mate,its simply stunning,wow those pacu dont arf charge the pond when they want

The pluero is coming along great,it is funny how they think pellets are prey...my girl slams into the pellets like she has to kill em....ive just fed her and she turned her nose up at the weekly prawns,,i thought hmm strange,got out the trusty pellets,bam bam bam so she prefers pellets to prawn

Hey, you know I'm a big fan.

Just wondering why in the world you're filleting your frozen fish. I am quite certain your aros are bigger than mine and I feed my silver WHOLE frozen market fish, thawed for a minute or two. He chows it down satisfactorily. Have you had a bad experience with feeding whole fish which led you to the practice?

I'm thinking the fish bones and internal organs provide some needed nutritional support as well.

But overall, great video, many thanks for posting.

i feed whole fish to my 3 bigger arows but unfortunately the babies couldnt eat the entire frozen fish that i bought (since the fish were larger than usual) so i had to fillet them into smaller cuts (especially since i have to feed my jar and smaller green arows as well!

but yes, they definitely still try and eat the whole fish that i feed at night but have to spit it out cuz its too big. i dont want them to choke!

PS: there is nothing wrong with feeding whole fish so u shud definitely continue if ure arow is comfortable with it. i agree with the nutritional value + less wastage. wen my 2 smaller silvers, green and jar get larger they will definitely be eating whole fish!

yeh its so weird! my pleuro wont wat fillet fish eventho it must smell better to them! she learnt to eat pellets so quickly tho! im gona buy another pleuro to try and breed them!

yes i do swim with the fish quite frequently during recent times. there are 2 threads on mfk with videos and pictures of the pond. check it out!

the pond is 5 foot deep all the way round!

Hey guess what? I just chanced upon a fellow hobbyist here in the Philippines who has the same water volume as your pond, and get this! He has a viewing window from his basement.

So, I sold him 2 of my fish and I brought my camera right, of course, I forgot the CF card at home and wasn't able to take pix, just took some videos! Argh. Watching his tank, I remembered yours.

After marveling at his tank, when I got home to mine, felt like mine was a fish bowl.

I am gonna sell him my other Giant Gourami, which means, I will be able to go back to his place. (I'm looking for every reason to go back to his place)

Once I get there, I'll take a thousand pictures and more videos, will post it soon.

BTW, his pond is very deep, like more than 10 feet I think.
